Background
TSCO's Engineering & Technical Services division has launched a dedicated OT cybersecurity practice, offering full operational technology and industrial control system (ICS) security assessments to energy and industrial clients across Saudi Arabia.
The new service line addresses a growing need across the industrial sector: as plants become more connected, the systems that control physical processes — from SCADA to distributed control systems — are increasingly exposed to cyber risk that traditional IT security teams aren't equipped to assess.
TSCO's approach combines engineering context with cybersecurity expertise, recognizing that a vulnerability assessment for a control system has to account for the physical process it's controlling, not just the network it runs on.
Securing a control system is not the same problem as securing an office network. You need engineers who understand both the cybersecurity and the process behind it.

The launch follows growing demand from clients navigating National Cybersecurity Authority requirements for critical infrastructure, alongside a general rise in awareness of OT-specific threats across the region.
Services Now Available
TSCO's OT cybersecurity practice covers the full lifecycle from initial assessment through to implementation, giving clients a single accountable partner rather than needing to coordinate between separate engineering and security vendors.
- OT/ICS security assessments and audits
- Consultancy aligned with National Cybersecurity Authority requirements
- System integration for security monitoring tools
- Engineering-led implementation and staff training
Built on Existing Engineering Capability
The new practice sits within TSCO's established Engineering & Technical Services division, drawing on the same process safety and asset integrity expertise the team already applies to physical risk assessments.
