Background
TSCO's Engineering & Technical Services division has expanded its scope of work to support the supply chain behind the NEOM giga-project, one of the largest infrastructure developments underway in the Kingdom.
The expanded engagement covers construction quality control, materials verification, and third-party inspection for suppliers and contractors feeding into the NEOM program. TSCO's teams are embedded at multiple points along the supply chain to verify that components and materials meet the exacting specifications the project demands.
This expansion builds directly on TSCO's existing testing, inspection, and certification capabilities, extending them into a construction quality control role that requires close coordination with contractors, engineering consultants, and project owners.
Giga-projects like NEOM raise the bar for what quality assurance needs to look like. Our role is to make sure that bar is met at every stage of the supply chain, not just at final handover.
— TSCO Engineering & Technical Services

The engagement reflects a broader trend across the Kingdom's giga-projects, where independent, third-party quality assurance is increasingly built into supplier contracts from the outset rather than added after issues emerge.
Scope of the Expanded Engagement
TSCO's teams are responsible for verifying that materials and fabricated components meet project specifications before they are accepted into the supply chain, reducing the risk of costly rework later in construction.
- Construction quality control across supplier sites
- Materials verification and traceability
- Third-party inspection of fabricated components
- Coordination with project engineering consultants
Part of a Growing Giga-Project Portfolio
This engagement adds to TSCO's growing portfolio of work supporting Saudi Arabia's giga-projects, alongside its established testing and inspection contracts across the energy and petrochemical sectors.
